Privacy Policy
Effective October 14, 2026 · Last updated October 14, 2026
This policy explains what information Warpeak Studios LLC (“Warpeak Studios”, “we”, “us”) handles when you play our game CardFall (“the game”) and when you visit warpeakstudios.com (“the website”), and the choices you have.
The short version
- CardFall has no accounts and no sign-in, and we don't use analytics or crash-reporting tools.
- Your game progress is stored only on your device. We don't collect it.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
- Optional rewarded ads are provided by advertising partners, whose software collects some device information. You choose whether ads can use tracking.
- The website uses no cookies, no analytics, no trackers and no third-party scripts or embeds. It's hosted by Netlify.
1. Who we are
The game and the website are operated by Warpeak Studios LLC, PO Box 87, Dunmore, PA 18512, United States. You can reach us at support@warpeakstudios.com or +1 (570) 362-6950.
2. Information in the game
Stored on your device
CardFall saves your progress on your device: for example your levels, rewards, gear, in-game currencies, settings and a record of permanent items you've bought. This information stays on your device. We don't collect it, and we can't see or recover it. It's deleted when you delete the game. If you back up your device with iCloud or a computer, your backup may include it, under Apple's terms.
What we don't collect
The game has no accounts and no sign-in. We don't use analytics or crash-reporting services, and we don't ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, location or other personal information inside the game. The only third-party software in the game that collects information is our advertising partners' software, described in section 4.
3. In-app purchases
You can buy optional items in CardFall, such as gems, coins, packs and gear sets. These purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, under Apple's terms and privacy policy. We don't receive your name, Apple Account details or payment information. Apple gives us limited sales information, such as which item was bought, when, in which country and for what price, which we use for accounting, tax and customer support. The game checks your purchases with Apple on your device so it can unlock what you bought and restore permanent items; we don't receive that information.
4. Advertising
CardFall offers optional rewarded ads: you can choose to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game reward, such as extra energy or a daily gift. You never have to watch ads to play, and your choices about tracking don't change the rewards you get.
Ads are provided by third-party advertising networks (our “advertising partners”). Before ads are switched on in the game, we'll list each advertising partner here with a link to its privacy policy. Their software is built into the game and collects information directly from your device when ads are requested or shown, so we treat it as information collected through our game.
Depending on your settings, our advertising partners may collect:
- device and connection information, such as device model, operating system version, language, screen size and network type;
- your IP address and the approximate location that can be derived from it;
- Apple's Identifier for Vendors and, only if you allow tracking, Apple's Advertising Identifier (IDFA);
- information about the ads you see and interact with, and about game events needed to deliver ads, such as when the game is opened;
- diagnostic information about how their software performs, such as crash and performance data.
They use this information to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and, as described in their own privacy policies, for their own purposes such as improving their services. If you allow tracking when the game asks (Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt), they may also use it to personalize ads based on your activity in other companies' apps and websites. If you don't allow tracking, they can't access your Advertising Identifier and won't use tracking to personalize the ads you see. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iPhone, or in the game under Settings > Privacy.
We don't receive your Advertising Identifier, IP address or the other personal information our advertising partners collect. We receive only aggregated reports, such as how many ads were shown and how much they earned.
Our advertising partners have agreed, in their terms with us, to comply with applicable privacy laws and Apple's App Store rules for information collected through the game, and their privacy policies give you protections and choices at least equivalent to those in this policy. We set up the game to pass your privacy choices, including tracking and opt-out settings, to them. Their own use of information is governed by their privacy policies.
5. When you contact us
If you email or call us, we receive your email address or phone number and anything you include, such as your device model, iOS version and screenshots. We use this only to reply, fix problems and keep a record of support requests. Our email is provided by Zoho Corporation (Zoho Mail) and our business phone line by Google (Google Voice). They process this information on our behalf.
6. The website
warpeakstudios.com uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party fonts, scripts or embeds; everything on it is served from our own domain. The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. in the United States. Like any web host, Netlify automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time, in server logs used to deliver the site and keep it secure. These logs are kept for a limited period under Netlify's policies. We don't use them to identify you or for analytics.
7. Children
CardFall is made for a general audience of teens and adults, is rated 13+ on the App Store and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, for example by emailing us, contact us at support@warpeakstudios.com or +1 (570) 362-6950 and we'll delete it.
8. How long we keep information
- Game data stays on your device until you delete the game. Copies in your device backups are kept under Apple's or your computer's settings.
- Support emails and voicemails are kept for up to 2 years after our last exchange, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need them longer to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation.
- Sales records from Apple are kept for 7 years for tax and accounting.
- Website server logs are kept by Netlify for a limited period under its policies.
- Information collected by our advertising partners is kept as described in their privacy policies.
9. Your choices
- Delete your game data by deleting CardFall from your device.
- Control ad tracking in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iPhone, or in the game under Settings > Privacy. You can change your mind at any time.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information in the game under Settings > Privacy > Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
- Ask us about your information. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. Email support@warpeakstudios.com or call +1 (570) 362-6950. We'll respond within the time the law requires. See section 10 for US state rights.
10. US state privacy rights (including California)
Some US state privacy laws give you specific rights and require us to describe our practices in their terms.
What we collect and why. Through the game and the website, the following categories of personal information may be collected:
- Identifiers (IP address, Identifier for Vendors and, if you allow tracking, Apple's Advertising Identifier), internet or network activity (ads shown and interactions with them), approximate location derived from IP address, and device information: collected by our advertising partners through the game to show and measure ads and prevent fraud (section 4). Kept for as long as each partner's privacy policy says.
- Identifiers and the content of your messages (your email address or phone number and what you send us): collected when you contact us, to reply and fix problems. Kept as described in section 8.
- Website server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested): collected by our hosting provider to run and secure the website (section 6).
We don't collect sensitive personal information, and we don't use personal information to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
“Selling”, “sharing” and targeted advertising. We don't sell personal information for money. However, if you allow tracking, letting our advertising partners collect identifiers and ad-interaction information through the game to personalize ads may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information, or “targeted advertising”, under some state laws. This happens only for players who allow tracking in Apple's prompt. We don't knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. The website doesn't sell or share personal information.
How to opt out. You can opt out at any time by either: (1) turning off tracking for CardFall in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iPhone; or (2) opening CardFall and going to Settings > Privacy > Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. When you opt out, we also tell our advertising partners to limit their use of information from the game.
Your other rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out as described above. To make a request, email support@warpeakstudios.com with “Privacy request” in the subject, or call +1 (570) 362-6950. We'll confirm your identity using information you've already given us, such as the email address you used to contact us. You can use an authorized agent, who must show us your written permission. Because we don't receive the information our advertising partners collect, we'll pass requests about it on to them where we can, and you can also contact them directly. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying with “Appeal” in the subject line. We'll answer within the time the law requires, and if you're still unhappy you can contact your state attorney general. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.
11. Where we offer the game and handle information
CardFall isn't currently offered in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
Warpeak Studios is based in the United States, and the information we hold is stored in the United States. Our advertising partners and service providers may process information in other countries, as described in their privacy policies.
12. Security
We collect very little information, which is the best protection. What we do hold, mainly support emails and voicemails, is kept in accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we work to protect what we hold.
13. Business transfers
If Warpeak Studios or CardFall is sold, merged or transferred, the limited information we hold (such as support emails and sales records) may be transferred to the new owner, who will have to handle it consistently with this policy or tell you about any changes.
14. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when we change how the game or the website handles information, for example when we add a feature or a new advertising partner. We'll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date before the change takes effect. If a change materially affects how we use information we've already collected, we'll also tell you in the game and, where the law requires, ask for your consent.
